Knights of McKinzie,

(for full effect read out loud in your best Sean Connery accent)
This evening at the 9th hour after the sun reaches its peak in the noon sky the Knights of McKinzie will gather in the lowermost region of the Campus Center to throw large balls at wooden pins and devour 400 Buffalo Wild Wings. There will be free bowling, air hockey, billiards, pingpong, video games, drinks, snacks, and a whole lot of meat! Many of you will also be receiving your due awards for your honorable (or dishonorable) character as portrayed throughout the entirety of this academic year.

This is a closed event. As the Nazarites of the Old Testament threw off the women that held them back, so we too will leave our fair ladies from the hours of 9:00PM-Midnight in order to fulfill our manly duty to consume 400 wings.

This also means there will be no visitation in McKinzie tonight.

Come enjoy the fruits (or should I say meats) of your labor.

You're Honorable King,
Sir Jordan Bunch

Risk-in-a-Box and Tacos

Some things never change. I have always loved spending time with good friends, the game of risk and Jack-in-a-Box tacos. So combining those three things makes for one incredible night. As one would expect when you play risk past midnight in a fast food restaurant, we got some very interesting looks and giggles. But it was an epic night of world domination. Well done men.

Guess which 3 Mckinzie staff members played Risk at Jack-in-a-Box taking advantage of their 24hour service and 2 for .99 cent tacos...

Somebody's Gonna Tie the Knot!

Did this just happen? Yep. Our very own Resident Assistant, Clint Coulter put a big ol' diamond ring on his girlfriends hand! When asked "when are you going to get married?" the happy couple replied simultaneously, "2 or more years" and "1 year!" I bet you can guess who said 1 year... Yes, Briana.

I would like to suggest that we start a pool. When will they set the date? Reply to this post to get an official date in the pool.

VP plays Ping Pong in McKinzie

Associate Vice President for Student Life, Jeff Arrington PhD was seen playing ping pong today in the McKinzie lobby. Most people would never guess that this former power lifter who did post-graduate studies in Computational Accelerator Physics at Harvard was also a table tennis champion... Wow, that was the most humbling statement I may have ever made (power lifter, accelerator physics, harvard, champion).

Does anyone think they can challenge this man?

Will the real McKinzie Hall Ping Pong Champion please stand up?

The Beginning of the End

A strange title for the 2nd post of a new blog.

Yesterday I was reminded at the Sophomore Housing Lottery Meeting that the time will come when my first freshman class will be leaving me to move on to sophomore housing. But for now they are still freshman.

Hence the gorilla and sumo suit.

Sometimes its hard to move on though. Its human nature to want to keep things the same. One of my guys asked me if he could stay in McKinzie again next year. Unfortunately, he can't. Life moves on. Its the beginning of the end of their freshman year. And life will never be the same.

We still have a month together. Lets make the best of it and make memories that will last forever. Just don't do anything too stupid.

The First Blog

Men of McKinzie. I'm not 100% sure what I will be doing with this blog. But what in life is 100% anyways? I'm thinking this will be a place for random stories, pictures, videos, thoughts, musings about life in the best Freshman dorm on campus.

To start us out... a question. Why are there 4 tires is Madison and Maitland's room?
